Please note that we reserve the right to select which articles to publish, to edit the article, and to publish at a time to suit our schedule. Submission of an article on this form, does not guarantee publication.

How Long Should The Article Be?

The blog post should be between 300 and 1000 words in length. We reserve the right to edit longer details if we feel it is necessary. You should spell check, and proof read your own post.

What Should The Subject Be?

Articles should be original content about one or more of the following

– pregnancy, baby, or infant loss

  • Infertility particularly after loss
  • Pregnancy and parenting after loss (rainbow babies)
  • Working with bereavement as a midwife, health visitor, children nurse, doctor, doula etc
  • Grief recovery
  • Babyloss from a charity perspective

Personal stories, professional essays, reflective pieces, awareness raising essays, campaign updates, research summaries are all acceptable.

We also are happy to accept articles about a product, resource, service or campaign – and ask that you make a contribution in return for the advertising.

We reserve the right to decline articles if we have concerns about the content, links with other businesses, or your conduct if it is likely to bring our site into disrepute. If the post hasn’t been published within 6 months of submission date, please assume it has not been accepted & feel free to share elsewhere.

Can I write about my own work, services, products in the<br /> blog?

Yes, as long as the article is also interesting to read – e.g the product is not the main / only point of the article and in response for a donation. If we cannot accept your article, we will refund your donation.
