Emma’s Impact
2014 was the year of Emma Grace, I carried her in my belly with such overwhelming joy, pride and hope for our future together. You see, Emma Grace made me a mother. Though my daughter and I will never be apart, our lives ended up very different than my husband and I could have ever anticipated. On July 14th 2014 I gave birth to my daughter who was silently born but spoke volumes. She was incredibly beautiful and perfect.
Our world stopped that day and life caved in upon us.
I began writing, because it was all I could do to release the myriad of emotions in my heart. I wrote because I needed to talk about her. I wrote because it saved me from complete insanity. In writing I found hope and support. In writing I found her. In writing I formed my non-profit The Queen B Project in Emma Grace’s honor.
Quickly I realized the impact that Emma was making, she was comforting other mother’s hearts, she was educating others on the depth and breadth of the loss of a child.
My story, her story, our story was inspiring others. My blog Emma’s Impact is the story of my journey from the day the darkness took over and the search for light ever since that day.

From the first moment I heard her speak I understood that within the darkness she was living in, we all were, she was decided to make a difference. That’s where her light resides… In the resolution she made to help others walk this same dark path and not feel alone in it. She definately deserves to win?✨
