My Plea:

In 2011 I lost my daughter hope Samara when she was stillborn at 25 weeks gestation.

I set up a little piece of hope in her memory to help bereaved families who have been and are going through similar things to me. To make there lives a little bit easier.

We are a small charity helping families through child bereavement and Hospital visits. We fund headstones and funerals hospital travel for children from gestational age up to 21 and try to raise as much awareness as possible for baby loss.

We are currently in the process of setting up support groups for parents in our local area. In October 2019 we will be raising awareness of pregnancy and infant loss at our local hospital. As part of pregnancy and infant loss awareness week. We will also be taking part in the international event the wave of light.

Whilst we don’t ask for anything in return for the work we do it is always amazing to be nominated and appreciated. We want to thank everyone for there continued support of the charity. We hope to continue to help and support many more families in the years to come.

What Others Have Said

A little peice of hope goes beyond awareness helping and being their for either grieving parents or parents who have a child with medical issues without Helen and her team the island would have no support in these areas and the level of compassion in the charity is outstanding
