Welcome to Tyler’s Friends
‘Tyler’s Friends’ is a new non-profit charity based in the County of Dorset.
At Tyler’s Friends we give advice, provide support, and offer financial assistance to families who are arranging the funeral or memorial of a precious child who grew their angel wings too soon.
Who and how do we help:
* We help families that have lost a child
from pregnancy to the age of 18 years.
* We enable the families to have the funeral of their wishes, this may include a horse drawn carriage, colourful coffin, orders of service or even something as simple as flowers.
* We strive to achieve a better working practice between families, funeral directors and medical professionals.
We aim to achieve this by:
* Holding a variety of fundraising events throughout the year to help us raise as much money as possible.
This will enable us to assist families who are not in a financial position to pay for the funeral or
to have a lasting memorial of their choice.
Our aim is to help relieve that unexpected cost
at such a heart-breaking time.
We can only do this through support, donations and recognition.
What Others Have Said
Tylers Friend was set up by Jon and Kirsten in 2018 as a non-profit charity. They help bereaved parents who sadly lose their baby or child with funeral costs.
Alongside this, the expertise of Jon and Kirsten (who have worked for years within the funeral industry) has encouraged them to ensure there is a better working practice between medical and funeral professionals to make sure things run as smoothly as possible.

This is an incredible charity. I have been supported by them myself. Without their help our daughters funeral would not have been the way we had hoped. At the worst time of our lives jon and kirsten supported us the whole way. They didnt just help towards the cost of our princess’s funeral but also the emotional support too. A very good cause and they work so so hard.

Tyler’s friends have offered my daughter and her family lots of support though out one of the most difficult times of our lives. They are helping at present to organise the headstone for our precious granddaughter and for that we can never thank them enough. They are truly worthy of this cause.
Kirsten and Jon don’t understand the meaning of a day off. To them it’s a chance to fundraise, to network and to raise awareness of what they can do to help bereaved parents at a time when worrying about how to pay for their child’s funeral should be furthest from their mind. They are both truly altruistic and hate attention but if it’s to Tyler’s Friends benefit Kirsten would don a tutu and sing anything from Take That’s back catalogue very badly such is her dedication to the charity. To be honest we would probably pay her to stop but either way she would see that as a plus for the charity. Amazing people, amazing cause and so, so worthy of your time and support.

Kirsten and Jon (Tyler’s Friends) have made such a difference to all the families they have helped in the last 2 years and the families they are helping at the present time. So much of their spare time is spent raising money and they are constantly thinking of new ideas to keep the money coming in. A great couple and a brilliant charity.

Jon and Kirsten often share heartbreaking stories about children “growing their angel wings too soon”, but to me, they are both angels in disguise…I say disguise because they do not seek adulation nor praise for what they do, they set up Tyler’s Friends with one purpose only; to be there for families in their darkest hour, offering the kind of support that only Tyler’s Friends can give, and they do so from the bottom of their hearts. I cannot think of more deserving people for this award ❤

Kirsten and Jon and all at Tyler’s Friends have done such a brilliant job starting this charity from scratch. It’s fantastic how it’s grown from strength to strength. The way they give up their spare time is so unselfish and I wish them luck in the future.
When we sadly lost our little girl this year Kirsten / Tyler’s friends was there for us. Their love and support was invaluable, we can’t thank them enough for being there for us.
