4 Louis:
“This began as a small family run charity that is having a huge positive impact upon the baby loss community. The charity is growing rapidly and offers valuable support for both parents and professionals. The charity provides a selection of memory boxes which range from stillborn babies right up to children aged 16 years. The charity also offers a selection of moses baskets and will happily fund a range of equipment for hospitals which includes cold units, cameras and access to training. Recently I was privileged to meet Kirsty’s parents talk at a local bereavement conference for professionals. Their story was extremely emotive and poignant! Their passion to support others and raise the profile of baby loss is truly outstanding.”
Edward’s Trust:
“I will never in a million life times be able to thank this organisation enough . Since our baby Billy died in June they have provided myself and my family with such amazing support I really do not know where I would be without them. They provide myself and my son with weekly counselling sessions as well as many other activities. They put on a amazing family Christmas party , memorial services , support groups plus so much more. I know they are always there at the end of the telephone if required . It doesn’t feel like an organisation , it feels like a family.”
Friends Of Serenity:
“After the loss of our son Harry we was able to spend time with him in a cold cot and suite that was funded by friends of serenity we also got our memory box as something we could make memories in the short time we could spend with Harry. Even since leaving hospital we have had continued support from the charity from just chatting to jo going to support meetings that have been set up and attending a fun run event that they organised. This charity does great work to make what is a really hard time that little bit easier and should be very proud of what they have accomplished.”
Jenson’s Twinkle Stars:
“I wanted to nominate Jenson’s Twinkle Stars for UK Support Organisation. The charity provide keepsakes and memory boxes but also organise funded family days out and hold a monthly support session where we discuss and explore bereavement and grief through arts and crafts and play. To me, personally, Jenson’s has given me a safe space where I can talk about my son and I have made friends with other mums just like me. My daughter is 2 and doesn’t yet understand about her big brother who died but Jenson’s has given me the confidence I need to address and cope with the bereavement and grief that exists every day within our family.”
Joel The Complete Package:
“Emma Pearson founded Joel The Complete Package, a charity that supports families who have been through the loss of a baby and who are parenting or going through a subsequent pregnancy after their loss. It is a truly wonderful organisation that works tirelessly to support the whole family during their heartbreak and beyond as they work towards accepting their new normal.”
Little Baby & Co:
“Michelle goes above and beyond to help other parents who have suffered the same loss as she has. She makes the most beautiful keepsakes, caskets and even specialises in water burial for very early babies. She takes such care and creates such beautiful items with such attention to detail. She has many challenges to face herself but she takes them in her stride. She’s an amazing person who has created a brilliant organisation that isn’t like any other.”
Sophia Pregnancy Loss Support:
“The charity provides a support group that meet monthly and also has a closed facebook group where parents can share their feelings privately. We both found the Sophia group a huge support after leaving hospital. We now go to the monthly meetings as well and I have found these so helpful. It’s a place you can go to honestly talk or just listen if you would rather. They are currently renovating a baby memorial garden at the local cemetery to create a special place for reflection for parents. They organise balloon releases on days like mothers day and fathers day and remembrance services at Christmas time. This means we can all get together and support each other at these times and share a special moment to remember our babies.”
Zephyr’s:
“Carly along with her partner Martin have worked tirelessly with NUH (Nottingham University Hospitals) to improve bereavement care in Nottingham following the loss of their 1st son Zephyr during birth. Through their grief they have helped and supported 100’s of people and Zephyr’s is now a funded support hub in the grounds of Nottingham City Hospital-away from the pain of the maternity unit. It includes a kitchen and 3 break out rooms (including a library) perfect for counselling and creative activities.”

Little baby & Co were amazing when I lost one of my twin daughters. Michelle provided me with clothes and blankets for my baby as well as precious keepsakes. I’m so grateful.
Thank you so much for being there for parents who have lost children and children who have lost parents in traumatic circumstances. Your counsellors are brilliant and your service truly lifesaving
